ABSTRACT: Micropropagation is one technology to propagate endemic species of the Ferruginous Rupestrian Grasslands when in vitro genetic conservation sought. The present study aimed assess breaking dormancy, establishment, multiplication, elongation, rooting, and acclimatization Mimosa calodendron from culture a temporary immersion bioreactor system. seeds used for experiments were plants originating Grasslands. percentage contamination, oxidation, unresponsive seeds, germination, number buds per explant, shoot length, senescence, adventitious assessed. dormancy was most successful by mechanical scarification (80% germination).
